The Computational Dynamics and Design Lab (CDDL) focuses on the development of computational methods for large-scale multiphysics systems exhibiting complex nonlinear dynamic phenomena. In addition to the development of efficient predictive methods based on advanced finite-element discretizations, sensitivity analysis procedures are also investigated to enable gradient-based design-optimization of engineering systems.
We are currently looking for talented PhD students with a strong foundation in analytical methods and computer programming. Interested students can get in touch with Dr. Manav Bhatia with a CV and description of their past programming experience.
